Do you mean the listinfo page?

Well I was able to subscribe new users through user web interface(info page)
using my VDI.You get a confirmation email, did you check for that?If ABC was
the user you were trying to subscribe then do:
1)su ABC
2)mailx -e
and see whether you got a confirmation email or not.In the email you will
either be asked to goto a link(where you have to press confirm) or send a
confirmation email to a given email address. It is only when you confirm that
you will be subscribed to the list.
If you checked all this already and still not able to subscribe new users
via listinfo page,do let me know.I assume that you wrote ABC at domainname as
the email-id right?(where domain name is laptopname.networkname).

Thanks Kathy,I am happy that VDI image is coming out to be useful.I
recommend the same to others to use the VDI image if they are still having
some problems with step by step installation,so that they can straightaway
jump on code and do bug solving or any kind of testing with Mailman to make
their understanding more strong.
