Hello,
As Jennifer pointed out, ubuntu 9.10 is using python-2.6 .So I built
python 2.5 from sources and it temporarily fixed the issue. But I am not
able to generate alias.db file. Here is the error
systers at sruthi-laptop:/usr/local/mailman$ cd /usr/local/mailman/
systers at sruthi-laptop:/usr/local/mailman$ sudo bin/genaliases
postalias: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory

systers at sruthi-laptop:/usr/local/mailman$
How shall I know my domain name is valid? Should I necessarily shift to
ubuntu-8.04?
Thank you for your support.Any suggestions would be helpful.
Regards,
