If you want to setup the current Systers config with Mailman 2.1.10, I'd
recomend you to go straight for the older version of Ubuntu (8.04) and
Python 2.5 and not waste your time on the newer versions. I did the same
mistake last year and halfway through I noticed I could get no further due
to the (old) version of Mailman. For instructions on the installation,
please see
http://systers.org/systers-soc/doku.php/step_by_step_system_installation. It
should contain all the extra packages added last year and I think it's up to
date.
