Hi Robin,
Thanks for the reviews.
This may expose my ignorance, but suppose a user has their openid bit set,

The username field will have the email address which will be used for the
login page. This email address will be set as the primary id which will
allow the user to login through openid. A brief scenario can give a view:
- A user 'X' comes to the Systers mailing list and suppose in total we
have got four mailing lists 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D'
- 'X' is subscribed to two of the mailing list 'A' and 'B'.
- The OpenID registeration CGI will allow the user to select the list
from the four and choose one of the list for which she wants to set the
openid . Here is the OpenID registeration CGI
view<http://systers.org/systers-dev/doku.php/project:cgi-screen_shots:start>
.
- Let the list that she chooses be 'B' , so she now gives the username,
password and select list 'B'. The username and password should be the same
for the list 'B' that she used i.e. the credentials should be same.
- If the corresponding username and password does match in the membership
database then the bit for openid is set.
- So from now on the user will be using this username and password to
access the Systers OpenID.
- The settings of each user will allow her to change the details by
choosing different username and password for the list. It means as user can
set the username and password of other list i.e. list 'A'

Till now we are using a method that we would be using the existing username
and password of the user that she gives while subscribing to a list. So the
user can use password reminder for the list for which she has enabled her
openid incase she forgets her password.
If anything better you suggest will be really great.
Thanks
