Hi,
on Monday this week I worked on making sure the old views we created still
work with the new rest-client. They now do but I haven't commited the
changes yet since my branch currently include lots of other changes not yet
ready to be pushed (among others the WTForm implementation from las week).
Me and Florian also had a discussion about the layout and stuff around the
settings pages and after that he started a conversation about it on the
mailman-developers list. So far we can't implement the views yet since there
are no rest-functions supporting them but Barry's working on implementing
these (in the rest-server that is).
Tuesday and Wednesday I had to correct a few things in my thesis (my mentor
at uni gave me a deadline to send in the changes before Friday morning so
unfortunately that couldn't wait). I'll make up for it by working with GSoC
this weekend instead though.
Yesterday and today I've been working on creating my own form similar to
WTForm which will add fieldsets and divs to the template. The first part was
easy but right now I'm struggling with how to pass the fields from the
regular form to my form (which is inherited by the regular form). I thought
this should be easy enough but the versions I found online used meta-classes
for this and I haven't managed to get these classes to co-operate with me
yet. Will keep working on them though.
