[Systers-dev] Staying involved as a non GSOC-participant

Omar,
The systers mailman project is open source so the whole project, all
the time, is volunteer and open to anyone to participate.
The only problem with this summer may be that we have a lot of folks
touching the code all at once and chaos may be the intermittent result.
;-)
But if you want to stay involved by a) remaining on this -dev list, b)
monitoring the bazaar site for open issues, c) being willing to do
testing and/or update docs, and d) maybe contribute a patch or two or
suggest a coding solution to a problem, we would welcome your
involvement.

Hey, Omar,
Lo siento that you were not selected. We just had too many good
candidates this year.
Pero, gracias por the link. I'll take a look.
I hope that you will stay involved, monitor our progress, and, quizas,
apply again next year.
Have a great summer.

Hi! a few days ago i found this page [5]http://codingbat.com/ its
pretty cool for python practice... i dont be select for the systers
this summer [cid:20100427143517.291F6A92 at resin07.mta.everyone.net] but
i want to share this anyway, so take a look... good bye!

I've got my two favorite book resources for learning python from
scratch (the O'Reilly Learning Python and the Apress Dive Into
Python)
but I'm sure other folks have other favorite books and some folks
would
prefer web resources to hard copy.
I did a superquick search and didn't find a 'Resources for
Learning
Python' page up on the wiki.
If folks want to exchange ideas on a thread here, for a day or
two,
I'll gather the results into a starter page on the Wiki that we
can
then update as time and new ideas go by.
