That's hilarious and awful.  Do you have time to write up a quick FAQ 
entry on this for the Mailman wiki, Vid?  If you need write access for 
your account, just give me a shout and tell your account name.  And if 
you don't, does anyone else have time?

Glad the problem resolved!  I was wracking my brain trying to think of 
other bugs I'd heard that might cause it...
