[Systers-dev] error on installing mailman

Hello,
    While trying to install mailman to setup systers mailman in ubuntu9.10,
I am having an error. I am not able to choose a language out of list of
languages.Select any language from list and press enter you will go back to
the notification itself and these two windows are running alternately(I am
attaching the screenshots of those 2 windows) and process won't end. I am
getting the same issue on running "sudo apt-get install mailman" in a fresh
installation of ubuntu9.10 and VDI image of ubuntu9.10 and ubuntu8.04 LTS
also. Did anyone get the same issue?Can anyone help to fix the issue.Thanks
