This doesn't sound like a problem to me: it's an opportunity. Instead
of having to squish DLists into an existing interface, you've got the
chance to influence the under-development interface so that it can
include DLists seamlessly. So pretend you're defining the interface
anew: what would be the best way to provide an interface to dlists? You
should probably think about the archives interface as well, to some
extent. What requirements would you want to communicate to the
archives team? You can use the old interface as a starting point, but
don't feel you have to be stuck in that box if there seems to be a
better way.

Assume you'll be communicating to teams working on other parts of
Mailman, be those GSoC students from Systers or other Mailman developers
such as myself.

But beyond that... can you wait a couple of days? We're hoping to have
Systers GSoC folk working on the archives, dlists, and the webui, but
we're not allowed to say much about any of the GSoC projects now until
Google makes the announcement on Monday.
