| About ResearcHers | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Welcome to ResearcHers. We are an informal organization for women computer science researchers (thus the name ResearcHers). We began in 2004 building on the success of the Systers list, which Anita Borg founded in 1987 as a small mailing list for women in "systems" (thus the name Systers). Susan Landau maintains the ResearcHers list. If you are a woman in computer science research you are welcome to join the list. No managers or students, please. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the ResearcHers Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.) |

The mailing list is organized around conversations. To begin a new conversation, send email to researchers+new@systers.org.
Alternately, if you would like to specify a name for your new conversation, send your message to researchers+new+name@systers.org, replacing name with the name you would like (e.g., researchers+new+greetings@systers.org).
To continue an existing conversation, simply use your mailer's "reply-all" command. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below. |
